Simply put, FrameForge Studio made my Eagle Scout Service Project about the dangers of drowning possible.

As many of you know, the Eagle Scout is the highest honor in Scouting. What many non-scouters do not know is the level of detail in planning that the rank requires.

Before I was even allowed to start my eagle project, a public safety announcement about the danger of drowning, I had to create an extensive plan to present to six different people for signatures.

Without FrameForge, it would have been very hard to create the extensive plan that the district asked for. There are many extra steps involved when one combines a film project with an eagle project. Besides the standard pre-production workflow. FrameForge was extremely easy to learn and helped me develop my ideas in the planning stages. I was able to quickly tell my story before I even began rolling the camera.

This experience in previsualization in such an accessible tool gave me the confidence that my idea would work, and I could move forward into production. The storyboards I created with the software were instrumental in directing scout volunteers who had no experience with making a film. The storyboards helped me impress the beneficiary to accept my proposed project, and then later to communicate my vision with my volunteers on set.

It also broke down the story into a sort of checklist that we could use to track progress and ensure we got all the right framings and shots. This of course saved enormous amounts of time, which is vital when one is working on a deadline.
